Senator Chuck Schumer and the Left are trying to push through more than two dozen of their liberal judicial nominees—and media reports say that too many Senate Republicans are not there on the job to block them. These are lifetime appointees that they’re trying to get in place before President-elect Donald J. Trump takes office! Sen. JD Vance and Sen. Marco Rubio are two of those being criticized for not being on hand to vote. I urge them—and every Republican—to do what it takes to be in Washington for these votes and let the Left know that you put the country first. These are critical appointments. I appreciate Sen. Thom Tillis who said, “If we don’t show up, we lose. I don’t care what the reasons were. We have fewer than 15 scheduled legislative days. You have to show up. Period. End of story. There’s nothing more important.” Pray for our leaders in office.

Former Center for Disease Control Director Robert Redfield doesn’t have heartburn about President Donald J. Trump naming Robert F. Kennedy, Jr as potential head of the Department of Health and Human Services. He was quick to dispel the rumors. “Kennedy is not antivaccine. What Kennedy is about is transparency about vaccines, honest discussion about vaccines, asking for the data to show that these vaccines are safe and they’re efficacious,” he told the media. The Left try to vilify anyone who disagrees with them. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is one smart man. I may not see eye to eye with him on some issues, however, I think he can bring some common-sense leadership into our national health system.
